The HUUM HIVE 12kW is a 12 kW floor-standing electric sauna heater designed for residential and commercial sauna rooms of 424 to 636 cubic feet. Its sculptural body of Estonian design is built from high-grade stainless steel and measures 22" in diameter and 29.5" in height, suited to large residential saunas, health clubs and spas. Industrial-quality heating elements are built for long-lasting performance.
A built-in Air Tunnel accelerates heat-up by 25% while reducing stone requirements and the stress on the heating elements. The heater holds up to 595 lbs of sauna stones, or 529 lbs with the Air Tunnel, producing soft, enveloping steam and even heat distribution. It operates on 240V single-phase power and requires a HUUM UKU control system and extension box, both sold separately. Sauna stones are also sold separately. The HIVE 12kW is SGS certified to US and Canadian safety standards, and HIVE 15kW and HIVE 18kW models are also offered.
